    url shortener is throwing a fatal error and various plugins and resources i know require it, does anyone have a favorite?

    • As a URL shorter, I would use domain.com/?p=5353 that’s going to be really short for your needs. It’s the non-pretty permalink strcuture, and it will redirect to your pretty permalink when you go to it.

    • Identifying plugins that blow up one thing or another:

      WPMarketer – unfortunately disables drag and drop widget interface in admin, I’m guessing a javascript conflict.

      • It’s very likely that plugin could break things, just test them one by one to figure out any issues. There’s no standard for cross-plugin compatibility, just a test as you go situation.
