You are correct. You can&#039;t add your own plugins to WordPress.com, you would have to &lt;a href=&quot;/wordpress-hosting/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;host WordPress yourself&lt;/a&gt;, and at that point, you can run your own plugins if you wanted to.

You&#039;d need to sign-up for web hosting, then install WordPress, and you&#039;d be good to go.

I&#039;ll be writing up a tutorial soon about the full instructions.</description>
